Soap. That’s right soap. I find it to be fascinating! I love making it, love it’s history, and love the science. Over the years I have been asked many times what is soap? Where did it come from? Why is your soap different than from what I can buy in the store and many, many more! As such I have decided to do a series called The Dirt On Soap answering those and other questions. Sharing with you my knowledge and passion about soap may be just that random little bit of information that makes a weird conversation interjection work. I love interjecting conversation with random bits of knowledge. Let’s get started in this post about What Is Soap!
Inquiring Minds Want To Know: What is Soap?
Soap is a mixture of fat or oil, water, and an alkali, or basic salt. Yep three ingredients is all it takes. Soaps are mixtures of sodium or potassium salts and of fatty acids which can be derived from oils or fats by reacting them with an alkali (such as sodium or potassium hydroxide) at 80°–100 °C in a process known as saponification. Now some like it to have amazing scents, others are allergic to smell and want it plain, to those who don’t care as long as it gets them clean….. scent is 100% optional. Absolutely the best part of soap is making up your own formula/recipe combining many different fats or oils that contain different properties to make a customized purpose and scent. While finding the right balance of the ingredients is key to making awesome soap!
Ingredients Are Key
Oils & Fats
As mentioned above you can make soap with any fat or oil. These can be acquired from all over the world from plants, seeds, nuts and even from animals. Every culture has a way of making soap and have used ingredients readily available to them for as long as history is written. In today’s world we have access to thousands. Markedly each fat/oil has been studied and tested and has a list of the benefits and properties that make each one desirable. Although some oils date back to being used for soap before Christ and are still used today other oils are newly being discovered so there is always new oils to explore. I love learning about each oil and doing research and formulating with them!
There are two different types of alkaline salt commonly used in soap making. There is Sodium Hydroxide and Potassium Hydroxide as known commonly as Lye or Caustic Soda. For you inquiring minds sodium hydroxide, NaOH, is a compound of Na (Sodium), O (Oxygen) and H (Hydrogen). It is used to make Cold Process Soap otherwise known as Bar Soap.
Potassium Hydroxide is commonly known as Lye or Caustic Potash. You’ll find the scientific name is KOH and it is a compound of K (Postassium) O (Oxygen) and H (Hydrogen). This form of lye is used to produce your liquid soaps like Shampoo and Bodywash.
Water. Cool clear water. It is equally important as the oils/fats and the alkaline salt but it’s what’s in the water that truly makes the difference! But you are thinking water is water right?! A point often overlooked is that water contains trace elements. It is important to realize these because they make all the difference when combined with the oils, alkaline salt and scents you add. Specifically trace elements act as a buffer and for example one cause your soap to get too hot or not hot enough. These can be a pain! Besides, in the water and depending on where it is sourced, city water or ground, add some chemicals, like fluoride, chlorine, even pesticides, that you are even aware of to your products. Ummm…..ewwwww…..just sayin’. On the positive side though using filter water is always best practice to control just this.
To scent or not to scent that is the question. Surely each person has an opinion on scents they like and don’t like. Granted for those allergic to all smells the answer is “Don’t even think about it!”. From there people have such array of what smells they like. There are fruits, florals, woody, earthy, and spicy to name just a few of the descriptive words used to describe what smells you enjoy. In fact you can use essential oils or fragrance oils individually or in your own combination to make a unique scent that is all your own.
I love, Love, LOVE blending scents! Not all are worthy of using in my products. In fact some are really, really bad. Although when I do a good job and it comes together amazingly…wahooo! Blending is definitely trial and error but it let’s my creativity flow. As a matter of fact scents are very personal and you should be exploring them. Surprisingly every person has an undetectable “scent” call pheromones and different scents blend differently with your body’s chemistry. That is why some can wear let’s say vanilla and it smells amazing while others smell horrible.
Pure soap. That’s what we make! We do not use any chemicals, detergents or petroleum to make any of our products. Additionally all of them are made without parabens, phthalates and sulfates too. You will only find the highest quality of organic ingredients (some are all natural because they cannot be obtained organically, for example the lye.) in our soap. Because of this method and standard you can use our soap from your hairline to the soles of your feet and all the places in between! Our pH is 7.25 so it cleanses and doesn’t strip your skin reducing the need for additional moisturizers. We offer a wide variety of scents to choose from that include therapeutic grade essential oils, a blend of these, a high quality fragrance oil or a blend of an essential oil and fragrance oil.

Charcoal Face & Body Bar
Curious about our Charcoal Face & Body Bar? Well you have come to the right spot! Welcome to another one of our blog posts this time we will be discussing our new Charcoal Face & Body Bar. We will be addressing the questions of what is Activated Charcoal, where it comes from and why it has a long history of being used in skin care and other applications. Plus breaking down each of the other key components that are contained in our Charcoal Face & Body Bar.
I have had multiple requests over the last couple of years for skin care products, especially those combating acne. Alas it has finally arrived! I have taken the time to put together this soap as the first product in our Skin Care Line. Mind you this soap can be used for an all over body soap not just a face soap. Now let’s take a look as to why this makes a great face and body soap and how it can help combat problem skin.
First, where does it come from? This is a simple question so we are going to address it first!
Charcoal is carbon. Activated Charcoal is charcoal that has been treated by oxygen to open up the space between the millions of tiny little carbon atoms.
According to Encyclopedia Britanica: The use of special manufacturing techniques results in highly porous charcoals that have surface areas of 300-2,000 square meters per gram. These so-called active, or activated, charcoals are widely used to adsorb odorous or colored substances from gases or liquids.
Other sources reveal that over history activated charcoal has been found to draw bacteria, poisons, chemicals, dirt and other micro-particles to the surface of skin, helping you to achieve a flawless complexion and fight acne. Additionally, in powder form is proven to adsorb thousands of times its own mass in harmful substances, which makes it a popular ingredient in facial masks and acne remedies.
Essential Oils For The Skin
Peppermint Essential Oil is found to it nourish dull skin and is believed to improve the texture of oily or greasy skin. Additionally, it is believed to create a a more even tone to your skin. Not to mention it has a bright and refreshing smell.
Tamanu Oil is extracted from the seeds of an evergreen tree called Calophyllum inophyllum. Tamanu oil is a remedy long used in Indonesia and the South Pacific and is believed to soothe skin and treat skin conditions such as eczema and acne. This oil is naturally opaque black and lends its color to this rich dark colored soap.
Tea Tree Essential Oil and it’s healing properties have been known about for thousands of years by the Aboriginal Tribes in Australia where it is indigenous. Furthermore, it has been widely used and is well known to help with a wide array of skin conditions. In this case we are using it as a topical antiseptic, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.

As far as the Polar Bear Swim Day those people are just flat crazy! I can’t imagine actually jumping into freezing cold water by choice. I had to unclog our ditch yesterday that runs in front of our property because it was flooding us out. It was 13 degrees outside and I swear the water was the same temp. NOT FUN! I think I now I must go get my sweater, I get cold just thinking about it. Brrrrr…… I just had to find out more on this now annual event and found it is a world-wide event. Here is a fun read!

End Of Year Sales Event is here!
Waking up early this morning, I am sooo not a morning person, I met this morning with nervous excitement as I prepared for our first every End Of Year Sales Event! Coffee in hand, I was on Facebook posting the event, sharing it across my groups and running my first ever boosted offer through Facebook. With in minutes, ok more like 60, I had everything set and *BAM* the first response and order hits me! Pure ELATION! Now comes the packing and shipping of the order. What could possibly take down my high?!
“Due to the text in your Ad you are paying more than you should.” received this from Facebook Ads Manager. Bummer…… Yet I am glad they notified me let’s fix this and keep rolling!
Let’s dive in to the Help Center and get informed. Yes, I paid for a boosted Offer and am seriously wanting the biggest bang for my buck. Every smart business person wants this. Advertising is expensive so it’s a no brainer to immediately drop what you are doing and make the changes necessary. So off I go into Facebook Help Land and see that it should be a simple fix. Yeah! I just need to adjust my image from all text to adding a graphic behind it and making the font 20% or less of the entire image. Ok so here is what I created instead:
This is not as informative as I would like it to be but, it’s pretty….. Hoping this resolves the issue as it is now in the review process. Fingers crossed and putting faith in to the Facebook guru’s that is doesn’t make shoppers look past it.
Positive mental attitude is what it’s all about people!
Now back to the shoppers and getting orders out to all who will be capitalizing on this great event. I will be checking my Ad Manager frequently as I watch to analytics of this event progress throughout the week. 🙂 Regardless of what it reports I am huge into positive mental attitude and will take all things with this event as a learning opportunity.
Until next time,

Skunked! “~~Oh man you stink~~”
So how many times do you smell a hint of skunk odor and your first thought is….”Where’s the dog?!” Well that is how it is in my family. LOL! Actually it isn’t funny because whoa man it is horrible to “de-skunk” the dog! It is totally #1 on my list of Top Worst Chores To Do. But I get the task at least once a year. This year I get to do the task right off the bat. You’d think my beautiful, tough, German Shepard would have learned by now, after all he is 5. I guess not!
Cute little things aren’t they?
All of the lovely little critters are coming out of hibernation here in the Rockies and are definitely cranky! Skunks are super cute as animals go, and the baby ones (shown below) make you want to just cuddle them up…… and then you get the whiff of the not so fabulous odor that comes off of them. Then it is a contest on how fast you can get them down wind of your nose. Always ensuring your are at a safe distance from their spraying radius…….BTW it is up to 4-7m (13-23 ft) in a favorable wind-although they are usually only accurate for up to about 2m (6.5ft). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skunk . Also as a side note that if your animal did get sprayed in the face it can cause temporary blindness, so just to be on the safe side get them to the vet ASAP to have them checked out! Thank you Dr. Nicki ( p.s. love her as our family vet)

Tomato juice is for drinking
So back to the task on hand…..let’s get the major stink off of the dog! Using tomato juice is not the way to going about this. Keep your tomato juice for a nice cocktail, soup base or simply a great addition to your breakfast as a healthy choice for to start your day. It is an old wives tale that tomato juice will cut the spray or secretion of the skunk. Here is a link to the scientific breakdown of skunk spray by William F. Wood, Department of Chemistry,Humboldt State University. Yes I am that big of a nerd that I read the whole article. Who knew that only “two of the thiols are responsible for the strongly repellent odor of the secretion, (E )-2-butene-1-thiol and 3-methyl-1-butanethiol.” I just added that to the “fun and quirky facts to blurt out in conversation for no apparent reason” file in my brain. Tomato juice will only add the odoriferous smell of tomato to the skunk smell permeating your clothing, hair and nostrils for said task at hand.
What needs to happen is to cut through the secreted oil that has attached itself to the hair cuticle and top layer of skin. This is especially true if you have a short haired animal. Here is a great, all natural, recipe that gets the job done usually in the first go round. I would not recommend doing this job in your home bathtub……but each to their own right?!
D.I.Y Skunk Odor Remover
To make the solution you will generally find that these ingredients are usually found in your home already so it is something you could whip up in a snap! Plus, they are very inexpensive so why pay big bucks for something you can make for pennies on the dollar? The recipe is very basic. All you need is baking soda, hydrogen peroxide and liquid soap. You can use white or apple cider vinegar if you don’t have enough hydrogen peroxide in your house but choose one or the other. DO NOT MIX THEM. Yep that’s it! You can add essential oils if you want to make them smell better when you are done but that is entirely up to you.
You will want to have your dog already tied to the area you are going to wash them BEFORE you mix this together. The object is to use the solution while the baking soda is reacting to the addition of the hydrogen peroxide or vinegar. If it goes “flat” is looses the power to get it gone the first time. I don’t ever use gloves to do this job because I don’t have acrylic nails, do not have sensitive skin and am fine with the knowledge that I can wash a second time with the solution should I feel it might have transferred to me in the process. But that is me not you and so…….. I would highly recommend that YOU wear gloves and eye protection (I just wear my sunglasses since I am doing it outside) just in case you should get splashed in the face!
Skunk Odor Remover Recipe
1/4 c Baking Soda
4 c Hydrogen Peroxide (3% found at any local drug store or pharmacy)
1 tsp Liquid Soap (unscented if you want to use essential oils)
3-4 Drops Lemon or Orange Essential Oil (optional)
Gallon Jug rinsed out
Towel – This is for me not for him so I have a barricade for when he shakes off!
- In a large bowl mix the baking soda, liquid soap and essential oils together just to combine. Seriously clumpy is ok.
- Add the hydrogen peroxide or vinegar. You will want to stir this mixture by hand with a spoon. Yes this is a bit redundant if you have common sense but funny story……”Why make extra things to wash when I can just add it all together in the jug.” Then the cap got put on and shaken…..KA-BOOOOOM the jug cap blew off and it was a geyser. Great science experiment with the right safety equipment. 😉 And last Do not try to heat this mixture on the stove or in the microwave. You will have a serious mess on your hands and the animal will survive a small amount of cold solution.
- Pour into the gallon jug for better control when applying to the dog.
- Apply to the animal and using your fingers massage all areas of the fur and skin. Avoid around the eyes, remember this has soap in it plus you have created an active solution, you wouldn’t pour it in yours so just avoid them all together to be safe.
- Rinse. Warm or cold water is doesn’t make a difference as to the removal of the odor.
- Repeat if necessary.
There you have it!
I would love to hear your stories and your success with this solution of removing the odor. I have been using it for years as I have owned a dog for almost all of my life. Happy De-Skunking your fur baby. 🙂

Spring green is here…..
I was sooooooooooooooo excited to clean out my front herb garden yesterday and see the first Spring “green” peeking it’s head through! It has been unseasonably warm here in the Rocky Mountains so I probably shouldn’t have been so surprised to see it already but I was and am ready for them to be mature enough to harvest. I have my Chives poking their heads out plus my Peppermint and Spearmint trying to take over already. If you have planted mint of any type you will be able to relate to the constant on going battle with it trying to take over. LOL! Let’s just say I did the crazy thing and plant it directly in my bed, not in a container to stop it from spreading like a bad weed, and so each Spring, Summer and Fall I battle the ever populating plant.
Growin’ my own
I guess I should be careful with that title being from Colorado but I love being able to grow my own herbs and vegetables throughout the year and use them fresh when ever I can! Here is the beginning of my Marigolds (Calendula), Dasies, Broccoli, Cauliflower and Brussel Sprouts. I can’t wait to see them poke their little green heads up after they have had time to germinate!
From by herb bed pictured above I use the Spearmint and Peppermint in the sun tea at my house, then in the fall dry bunches for use in hot tea to drink plus, in my “Tub Teas” that I use and sell for that infuses your bath water to make a heavenly soak.
The Chives and Oregano that share this bed are pretty hardy and are awesome perennials that I use to add bright and fresh flavors to my kitchen! I can only use so many Chives before I am over them but I love, Love, LOVE the purple flowers that bloom on them! They are some of the very first flowers to bloom around my patch of heaven and my lovely honeybees frequent them drinking deep on their sweet spring nectar. I thoroughly enjoy sitting on the front step listening to them happily buzzing along them. Not only are they beautiful but are also very tasty when added to the top of a quiche or in a salad. Um….what is the little purple thing in my salad?! It is fun to have guests over and watch them eat them for the first time. Some are hesitant others dig in for the experience with not many that don’t like them. My boys Zig and Zag think it is great fun to be eating a flower.
I’ll have to share pictures on another post when it is in full bloom! My bees make them go wild and during the summer my husband says I should trim the mint with hedge trimmers because it is that thick and wonderful. I call it a bit overwhelming but he has fun.
To Be Continued…..
I look forward to sharing again as we go about the year! Don’t miss out on the next post by subscribing to our blog or follow us on your favorite social network. We can be found on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest!

Lavender: March 2016 Scent of the Month
We are excited to announce that our Lavender Product Line is our scent of the month for March. This widely loved scent is available in almost all of the products we make. You can find it in our handcrafted soap, both in the standard bar size and quarter bar size, our hand and body lotion, in both sizes, bath bombs, salt soaks, synergy blends and massage creams. Oh my!
We use only the highest quality, therapeutic grade, of Lavender Essential oil that we import from the Provence of France. It is the true traditional Lavender smell that carries through in our products regardless of what product we implement it in. Lavender is one of the oldest essential oils and can be traced back to ancient times of the Greek and Roman eras. It has been used to anoint the bodies of people for centuries for it’s fragrance properties alone, but of course for the aromatherapy and healing benefits as well. It is truly one of the most versatile essential oils and easily found. You do want to be conscious when buying your essential oils based on what you are using them for. As with anything there is a reason you can buy from one brand and it be significantly less than an other. We will get into that a little further down.
The most commonly known aromatherapy properties are that it reduces stress and tension, has a calming effect, and helps with sleep. Yet these are just the tip of the iceberg! Did you know that Lavender is known to be antibacterial, anti-fungal, and can be used as astringent as well?!
According to Linda Walker’s “The Skin Care Ingredient Hand Book,” lavender oil’s natural soothing properties and ability to reduce inflammation allow it to treat skin redness and conditions such as burns, eczema and psoriasis. It is also an excellent in repairing damaged skin.
When using lavender essential oil, or any essential oil for that matter, you want to make sure that you are using only the best. Sure you can buy cheap oils but when doing so you are also negating the benefits of said oil. To reap the benefits of Lavender Essential Oil you want to make sure that it has been processed through steam distillation. Each oil has its own process of acquiring the oil so do your research on what method is used and then research the company you are getting them from to ensure you are not getting an oil that was chemically stripped from it’s source! Chemically stripped oils really defeat the purpose of using them don’t you think?
That being said there are also different grades of essentials oils. You have therapeutic grade and “pure” essential oils. They are not one in the same. For any type of aromatherapy you want to be using therapeutic grade essential oils. Yes they cost more, and you need to double check that you are buying therapeutic grade, but the results are greatly different.

National Holidays & Observance Days Fun
Did you know we have a National Doughnut Day? It’s June 3rd. Or that we actually have a National Curmudgeon Day….. it’s tomorrow January 29th. I love fun and quirky little things that bring joy to me and my family’s life don’t you?! I had a moment the last week about seeking out our National Holidays & National Observance days to add some fun to our business (and of course marketing strategies). It was very interesting on how many silly, quirky, and forgotten ones there are. We love the fun ones but it is a great way to recognize and remember the history that has shaped our country and world too!
I have found the funnest links to a listing of the National Holiday and National Observance Days and have really enjoyed reading through them. I have looked at many, yes many to me is how long my attention would allow at 2am which boils down to 5… give or take a few, and have decided to use three cumulatively for 2016! The thing that is interesting is that they all are different, some focus on health awareness days, some on religious, others just fun and funky but all hitting the major ones. I even came across one where you could submit your own day to and just provide them with a why you think it should be added! This was the one with the most diverse “days” that was for sure. Hahahaha I’ll let you find that one as some might not appreciate all that it had to offer. 😉
Links for you!
Here are the links I will be using but would love to know of yours too. 🙂
NationalCalendar.com is one that you can choose either National Holidays or Observations Days by month. I have bookmarked it for easy retrieval!

TimeAndDate.com is really cool….. not only does it give you some never before heard of (ok, I’ve never heard of) days but it also has the option of viewing world clocks and time zones, Sun and Moon calendars, Fun Articles and more. I poked around this one a lot.
Did I say three weeeelllll I actually meant four. Yep I forgot about this one until just now when I got an email.
DaysOfTheYear.com is one of the lists that has a day and sometimes multiple things per day you can celebrate. You can subscribe to receive email with what today is and you can also search for what is coming. I am sharing some of these days with my boys’ teachers as they would be fun for them to incorporate into school sessions! Because seriously who wouldn’t love to have National Chocolate Cake day at school where you can apply all of the days learning to it?
- You have reading about it…..Literacy and Geography
- Researching how it starts as a seed and grows and develops…..Science

Cold Winter Weather Giving you Winter Skin?
Yikes! Can you believe we are already mid January? The new year is already on a roll and the cold has set in so chapped, dry skin and hair have begun. Whether you are enjoying this winter by being outside and participating in outdoor adventures or just making those walks/runs between your car, home or office winter is here and it is effecting your skin!I am getting calls, texts, emails and stopped on the street with questions on how to combat already chapped, dry skin and hair plus, how to prevent it!
It all comes down to the moisture content of your skin and hair is what I tell them. My first response is drink lots and LOTS of water so that your body can naturally flush the toxins and chemicals out of your body. After that let’s create deep retaining moisture so it gives a barrier against the harsh cold weather. Yes those up North have different conditions than those in the middle and southern states but the answer is the same! We offer a great line of products to help you combat Winter Skin so let’s break them down and explain what they can do for you and why they help.
Ingredients Are Key
Your skin is the largest organ your body has and we sometimes forget that so it is key that what you know what you put on your skin and why to get that healthy glowing appearance during any season.
It is always best to use only products that contain all natural ingredients so that what you are applying to your skin isn’t creating more of a problem (of course this is barring any allergies that one may have) through the use of harsh chemicals, synthetics and petroleum. Petroleum wicks away the Vitamins A & D from your skin which are vital nutrients needs to repair and replace damaged skin cells. When applying products with petroleum in them creates and endless cycle of dryness that can lead to chapped and even cracked skin.
There are many different levels of even natural ingredients so you want to ensure you aren’t using a “natural” ingredient that has actually been chemically stripped to produce it. It really defeats the purpose don’t you think? We use only the highest quality raw ingredients that have been thoroughly researched on the methods they use and where they come from. In return this gives us only the highest quality products we offer to you!
Meet My Hand & Body Lotion
Now let’s get down to what we have to help you! I would like to introduce you to my Hand & Body Lotion (it’s fabulous, just sayin’)! It is a rich cream where a little bit goes a long way, is easily absorbed by your skin, plus leaves your hands soft, supple and velvety smooth. Oh yes it is truly that good.
In private test marketing and from customer testimonials, I have had people tell me that they can wash their hands two to three times before they have to reapply. (individual results may vary) That is huge!
We use only the highest quality of all natural/organic based raw goods when making our Hand & Body Lotion. First we start off with using triple purified water that goes through a reverse osmosis water system to remove all of the heavy minerals and chemicals out of our water source. Our proprietary blend of oils offers up multiple levels of moisturizing benefits. We use Cocoa Butter, Sesame Seed Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, and Vegetable Glycerine and here is why……
Cocoa Butter is an oil that is naturally soothing to the skin and is readily absorbed. It is high in fatty acids, a natural source of antioxidants, Vitamin E and other vitamins and minerals. Because of these great properties it sooth, hydrates and balances the skin. Plus, it helps to keep skin supple helping guard against cracking because applying topically it creates a barrier between skin and the environment. We also use it because we have found that it has helped our clients with eczema and dermatitis, but again individual results will vary.
Sesame Seed Oil:
Sesame Oil is chalk full of many different vitamins and minerals. We love it in our lotion because of the Zinc, Vitamin B6, and Copper. Zinc is a mineral that is essential in producing collagen giving your skin more elasticity. It aids in repairing damaged tissues, soothing burns and aids in skin related issues. The Vitamin B6 helps maintain the overall condition of your skin and has been know in treating a number of different skin problems including eczema, dry skin and psoriasis. Copper plays a significant role in the synthesis of collagen and is also actively involved in the the production of elastin keeping the skin flexible, helps avoid sagging and having wrinkles, giving your skin a more youthful appearance.
Sweet Almond Oil:
Sweet Almond Oil a light oil that penetrates the skin and hair easily. Because it has emollient properties, it has the ability to rejuvenate, soften and condition the skin and by doing such improving the tone and complexion. It also protects from sun damage and signs of aging. It is high in fatty acids and contains vitamins A and E making it well suited for problem, dry and itchy skin.
Vegetable Glycerine is amazing humectant! What is a humectant you say? Well it draws moisture out of the air onto the skin but also acts as a barrier and keeps the moisture in as well. Glycerine is easily absorbed and deeply penetrates making it soft, smoothing the skin texture and plumping it for a younger look. It is a perfect ingredient to combat dry and irritated skin.
In addition to these amazing ingredients we finish off the production of our lotion by using Specialty Denatured Alcohol (SDA-40D), BTMS Emulsifying Wax, and Fragrance Oils, Essential Oils or adding none of the above for those of our customers with allergies or scent aversion.
The SDA-40D is our full spectrum anti-mold, yeast, bacterial, fungal and viral preservative. Ever get to much lotion out of your bottle and then scrape it back in to save for a later date? Well you have just contaminated the whole bottle with what might be hanging out on your hands, yes people we are talking about germs, chemicals, food, etc. This is why we use the SDA-40D, as it doesn’t allow fun things to be grown in the lotion. No one and I repeat NO ONE wants to have a living petri dish alive and growing little nasties (microbial) that they then would put on their skin. Yuck! Plus it dissipates in less than 30 seconds and we have tested our lotions for two years ensuring that if there are no outside contaminates are introduced we maintain a sterile formula.
We use BTMS Emulsifying Wax to combine our lovely ingredients for you. It is 100% derived from vegetables and is all natural.
Last are the Fragrance and Essential Oils we use for fragrance purposes. Our fragrance oils are of the highest quality and are certified to us to be paraben, phthalate, and formaldehyde free. As for the essential oils we use only therapeutic grade to ensure the benefits of each oil.

My reference selection is too wide and arduous to post to this blog because it comes from many years of learning from books, lectures, personal experiences, magazine articles, published scientific papers, etc. But, that being said, I have found and have further investigated the research, that the livestrong.com website has posted on the bottom of all of their articles the resources with well notated references of their research that has a multitude of information.
